1 WYTHEVILLE
We depart this morning traveling to Wytheville, VA where we will spend the night.
2 SOUTH BOUND / NASHVILLE
We depart this morning heading south through the mountains of Tennessee on our way to Nashville. This afternoon we treat you to dinner at Blake Sheltons Ole Red Restaurant and visit the Johnny Cash & Patsy Cline museums. Our accommodations for the next 2 nights are at the New Drury Plaza Hotel in Downtown Nashville.
3 NASHVILLE
Today we will enjoy all that Music City, USA has to offer. This morning we will visit the Ryman Auditorium. After lunch we will enjoy a tour of RCA Studio B, as well as a Backstage Tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Tonight, we will enjoy a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry. We will spend another night in Nashville.
4 HURRICANE MILLS / MEMPHIS
This morning we depart Nashville and head toward Hurricane Mills, TN where we will visit Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Here we will take a full guided tour of the grounds to include her Home, General Store, Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum and much more. This afternoon we will provide you lunch at Loretta Lynn’s kitchen before making our way to Memphis TN where we will spend the next 2 nights at the New Guest House at Graceland Hotel (Formally the Heartbreak Hotel).
5 MEMPHIS
This morning a Local Guide will join us for a tour of Memphis and all of its historic sights. This afternoon we will visit Sun Studios, Stax Records as well as Graceland. We will spend another night in Memphis. Dinner will be provided for you tonight at Graceland.
6 MEMPHIS / MUSCLE SHOALS
We leave Memphis this morning and make our way to Muscle Shoals, AL. Along the way we will stop at “Lewis Ranch” home of Jerry Lee Lewis. This afternoon we will continue east traveling through Mississippi and Alabama into Muscle Shoals. Upon arrival in Muscle Shoals, we will visit W.C. Handy’s home and museum. Tonight, we will treat you to a One of a Kind Dinner at the Rattlesnake Saloon. Here you will experience dining under a rock cliff and the only way to get down to the restaurant is in the back of a pickup truck. We will spend the night in Muscle Shoals.
7 MUSCLE SHOALS
Today we will tour some of the most famous recording studios in the USA. FAME Studios, Muscle Shoals Sound Studios as well as Cypress Moon Studios are all on the agenda today. Recording artists such as The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan and many more found their signature sound and recorded massive hits here. Our last night in Muscle Shoals will be a memorable one as we provide dinner for you at Champy’s Chicken – a one of a kind restaurant.
8 WYTHEVILLE
This morning we will visit the Alabama Music Hall of Fame where we will learn all about Alabama Musicians and their legacy. This afternoon we continue to Wytheville, VA where we will spend the night.
9 HOMEWARD BOUND
We depart this morning rocking all the way home taking with us all the musical memories of Nashville, Memphis and Muscle Shoals, AL.
