1 NORTHBOUND / NEW JERSEY
We depart this morning traveling through Virginia and Pennsylvania making our way to Secaucus, New Jersey for the night.
2 YANKEE CANDLE / CHRISTMAS VILLAGE
Our first stop this morning will be at the Yankee Candle Flagship Store for shopping and lunch. After lunch we will visit the Bavarian Christmas Village where it is always Christmas time! This evening we will visit the Bright Nights Holiday Light Display at Springfield’s historic 750 acre Forest Park. The Two and a Half mile ride with over 500,000 twinkling lights is a sight to behold. Dinner will be provided for you tonight at the Red Lion Inn. We will stay in Springfield, MA for the next two nights.
3 FESTIVAL OF TREES / NORMAN ROCK-WELL MUSEUM
This morning we make our way to the Berkshire Museum for their annual “Festival of Trees”. Here you will view over 200 decorated trees on display. This afternoon, we will visit the Norman Rockwell Museum to see over 400 of the illustrator’s works in the original oil paintings. We will provide dinner for you at a local restaurant before enjoying a Evening Holiday Performance. We will stay in Great Barrington, MA.
4 STOCKBRIDGE / SECAUCUS
This morning we will be joined by a local guide for a Berkshire Cottages Tour and a tour of the “Picture Postcard” town of Stockbridge, MA. This afternoon you will have time to enjoy Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas with the streets lined with antique cars recreating Norman Rockwell’s famous painting. The festive atmosphere is sure to get anyone into the holiday spirit. This evening, we will make our way back to Secaucus, NJ for the night.
5 HOMEWARD BOUND
We depart this morning heading home with all the wonderful memories of Stockbridge, Massachusetts and the Berkshires at Christmas time.
