1 PENN WELLS HOTEL:
We start our journey today traveling to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania where we be staying at the Historic Penn Wells hotel for two nights. Dinner tonight will be provided in the famous Mary Wells Room at the hotel.
2 CORNING MUSEUM / PENNSYLVANIA GRAND CANYON:
Today begins with a visit to the Corning Museum of Glass where you will be able to see the largest collection on glass in the world. Nearly 3,500 years of history are displayed inside the galleries! Afterward, you will enjoy a two-hour covered wagon tour through the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. After we will visit the beautiful PA Grand Canyon Overlook before we treat you to dinner tonight at a local restaurant.
3 LUCY HOMETOWN TOUR / JAMESTOWN:
After breakfast we will depart for Jamestown, New York. Upon arrival we will visit the Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz Museum where you will enjoy over 50 immersive exhibits for a journey through comedy and history. You also can take a photo on one of the most famous tv sets, “I Love Lucy”! This evening, a local guide will join us for a tour of Lucy’s hometown where we will see points of interest close to Lucille Ball such as the house she was born in, where she grew up, and so much more! We will “Eat like Lucy” tonight and enjoy a Spaghetti dinner in the Tropicana Room.
4 HOMEWARD BOUND:
We leave New York State this morning and head back home remembering all the beauty of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and all the laughter we experience discovering Lucille Ball’s hometown.
