Travel back roads and mountain byways to the Annual Highland Maple Festival! This Festival has been an Annual Event in Monterey, Virginia since 1958. A tour of a Maple Sugar Camp enables us to enjoy a Long- Vanished Way of American Life as we view the process of “Sugar” Making, from the tapping of the trees to bottling the finished product.
Additional Festival Fare includes Food, Vendors with Local Specialties and over 150 Quality Artists and Crafters from more than a dozen states. Clogging Groups, Folk Singers and Storytellers make their daily performance at the Festival.
