Naturalists will help you learn about the native wildlife as you visit both Assateague and Chincoteague Island where you may see wild ponies running on the beach.

1 OCEAN CITY / HEMMINGWAY:
We travel to Ocean City where we are greeted by a welcome reception upon arrival. In the mid-afternoon we’ll check in to our boardwalk hotel for a chance to freshen up and get ready for our dinner at the charming “Hemmingways” Restaurant and enjoy a delicious dinner in a cozy atmosphere. After dinner, your evening is free to stroll the Boardwalk on your own.
2 EXPLORER TOUR / BERLIN / ASSATEAGUE ISLAND:
We start this morning meeting a local guide before boarding “The Explore” for an exciting ecosightseeing cruise around the beautiful Assawoman Bay, a lagoon that is located between Ocean City, Maryland and mainland Delmarva. After the tour we return to the mainland where we will have time for shopping and lunch on your own in the Historic Town of Berlin. This afternoon we take a guided tour of Assateague Island, Home of the Wild Ponies. You will have free time at the Welcome Center, and a step-on guide will explain the flora and fauna. More than 300 wild ponies wander the beaches, island pine forest, and salt marshes. Take advantage of the opportunity to view the horses in a natural habitat. Tonight, dinner is included at Higgins Crab House, enjoy and all-you-can-eat crab fest.
3 SALISBURY / HARRIET TUBMAN MUSEUM:
This morning we travel to Salisbury, MD to tour through the incredible Ward Museum of Wild Fowl Art. This museum has the most comprehensive collection of wildfowl carvings in the world, ranging from art sculptures to working decoys used by hunters. After the tour we treat you to lunch at Suicide Bridge Restaurant, overlooking Cabin Creek so you can watch the ducks and geese swim and dine with you. After lunch we head to the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Museum depicting the life and times Harriet Tubman through presentation of exhibits. This evening’s dinner is at Harrison’s Harbor Watch Restaurant overlooking Assateague Island. After dinner, you have the option to try your luck under the dazzling lights of the Ocean Downs Casino.
4 HOMEWARD BOUND
Today we depart for home with many wonderful memories.
