1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we stay in Wytheville, Virginia
2 MEMPHIS
We depart this morning traveling through Virginia and into Tennessee making our way to Memphis for the night.
3 BARTLESVILLE
Before leaving Memphis this morning, we will make a stop at the World-Famous Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid. After a short ride, we will make a quick stop in Little Rock, Arkansas for a look at the Capitol before making our way to Bartlesville, Oklahoma for the night.
4 PIONEER WOMAN MERCANTILE / OSAGE NATION / PAWHUSKA
We leave our hotel this morning and take a short ride to Pawhuska, the home of the Pioneer Woman. After arriving in the quaint town, we will be joined by a local guide for a “roaming the Osage” tour. We will also visit the Osage Nation Museum as well as the Ben Johnson Cowboy Museum. Tonight, you will be treated to dinner at the Pioneer Woman Mercantile.
5 BLACK GOLD TOUR / WOOLAROC MUSEUM / OLD WEST BUFFALO
Our day begins with a “Black Gold” tour around Bartlesville where we will learn the history of the Oil boom in the area as well as the American Buffalo. You will see Oklahoma’s first oil well from 1897 and of 30 life sized buffalo statues! This afternoon we visit Woolaroc. This 3700-acre wildlife preserve was the country estate of Frank Phillips, founder of Phillips 66. Here you will enjoy a collection of western art, relics and exhibits that tell the story of the American West. You will also enjoy the named animals located on the property. Tonight we will take you to Old West Buffalo Company where you will be treated to Dinner and a Show as well as feed real Buffalo!
6 PHILLIPS HOME / MEMPHIS
Before leaving Bartlesville this morning, we will visit Frank Phillips Home. The early 20th century Neo-Classical home remains almost entirely unchanged since Frank Phillips himself lived there. This afternoon we make our way back to Memphis where we will spend the night.
7 VIRGINIA
We leave Memphis this morning making a quick stop in Nashville for Lunch before continuing onto Wytheville where we spend the night.
8 HOMEWARD BOUND
We leave Memphis this morning making a quick stop in Nashville for Lunch before continuing home with all our wonderful Memories of Oklahoma, their “Black Gold” and the Osage Nation.
