1 TOLEDO, OHIO
Welcome aboard our adventure to see all the Great Lakes! Today we will travel northwest through West Virginia making our way to Toledo, Ohio for the night.
2 GREAT LAKES MUSEUM / SCHOONMAKER MUSEUM SHIP
This morning we will visit the National Museum of the Great Lakes, with over 300 genuine artifacts, a number of powerful audiovisual displays and 40 hands-on interactive exhibits including the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship. This afternoon we will make our way to Chicago for the next two nights.
3 SHEDD AQUARIUM / NAVY PIER / SKYDECK / CHICAGO
We begin our day with a visit to Shedd Aquarium. Whether it’s the fresh, cool Great Lakes or warm waves of the Caribbean, Shedd’s many exhibits reveal the secrets of our planet’s waters. This afternoon we will enjoy Lunch and Shopping at the Navy Pier. We will end our evening with a visit to Skydeck Chicago. We spend another night in Chicago.
4 MILWAUKEE / PABST MANSION / RIVER WALK
This morning we will make our way to Milwaukee where we will enjoy a tour of the Pabst Mansion as well as shopping at the Milwaukee River Walk where you can snap a picture with the “Bronze Fonz” a statue of the King of Cool from the Happy Days TV series. This afternoon we also enjoy a tour of the Great Lakes Distillery. Tonight we enjoy a Dinner Cruise on Lake Michigan before staying the night in Milwaukee.
5 MICHIGAN / PICTURE ROCK
Today we depart for Munising, Michigan where we enjoy one of the biggest attractions of Lake Superior – “Picture Rock”. We will enjoy a narrated boat tour of the spectacular sandstone cliffs within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Each cruise travels approximately 40 miles round trip. We will overnight near Munising.
6 SHIPWRECK MUSEUM / MACKINAC LIGHTHOUSE / MACKINAW CITY
This morning we will visit the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. Afterwards we head toward Mackinaw City where we will enjoy a visit to the Colonial Michilimackinac Park as well as the Mackinac Point Lighthouse. We will overnight near Mackinaw City.
7 LAKE HURON / GREAT LAKES HERITAGE CENTER
We leave this morning and head toward Alpena, Michigan where we will enjoy a Glass Bottom Shipwreck Boat Tour on Lake Huron. After our tour we visit the Great Lakes Heritage Center before heading to Bay City, Michigan for the night.
8 TORONTO / LAKE ONTARIO CRUISE
Today we depart for Toronto where we will enjoy a Lunch Cruise on Lake Ontario. You will have the evening free to enjoy this beautiful Canadian city. We will spend the next two nights in Toronto.
9 TORONTO / CASA LOMA / CN TOWER
Today we will have a Local Guide join us for a tour of Toronto and a self-guided tour of Casa Loma. We visit CN Tower tonight before staying in Toronto another night.
10 HORNBLOWER / SKYLON TOWER
This morning we head toward Niagara Falls where we will enjoy the Hornblower of the Falls, Queen Victoria Park, Floral Clock and Skylon Tower. We will spend the night in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
11 “MADE IN AMERICA” / LAKE ERIE CRUISE
This morning we head toward Cleveland. On our way we will stop at the “Made in America” store where you will find over 7,000 items that are American made. This evening we will take a Dinner Cruise on the Nautica Queen out onto Lake Erie. We overnight near Cleveland.
12 HOMEWARD BOUND
This morning we will spend some time in Cleveland’s West Side Market before heading home with all the memories of The Great Lakes.
