1 NORTH BOUND
We depart this morning heading North through West Virginia and Maryland on our way to Manns Choice Pennsylvania. After arriving in Manns Choice we will visit the underground Cavern – Coral Caverns, the only fossilized coral cavern known to be in existence. You will be in awe of the distinctive features such as the Coral reef, a towering fossil wall containing fossil remains and corals from over 400 million years ago. We treat you to dinner at a local tavern tonight before checking into our hotel in the Bedford, Pennsylvania area.
2 CENTRE HALL PA
Today we make our way to Lincoln Caverns – where we will enjoy a Special “Black Light” Cavern Tour. Lincoln Caverns was first discovered in 1930 where they found large passageways and rooms containing massive flowstones, thousands of delicate stalactites, pure white calcite and sparkling crystals. We treat you to dinner tonight at another great local Tavern before heading to Centre Hall Pennsylvania where we spend the night.
3 PENN STATE AREA
An exciting day is planned as we visit two Caverns – Penns Cave, where we will “float” the entire cavern and Woodward Cave, where we see The Hall of Statues, which is over 300 feet long. You will be treated to lunch and dinner today at two different local taverns. We spend the night in the Penn State area.
4 HOMEWARD BOUND
Today we travel back home full of great food from all the local Taverns, great pictures of the various Caverns and all the memories we made along the way.
